You can but there is at least one consideration that you should make if you choose to do so. The iPhone 3G and 3GS design is particularly prone to damage near the charging port when used while the device is plugged in. When most people use their phone they don't consider the stress that is caused by the cord when moved around. This leads to a crack on the back of their iPhone near the bottom. This crack can allow moisture to get inside of the phone if you set it down on a wet counter or put it into the cup holder in your car. Not only that but it also looks bad. So if you want to use your phone while it's plugged in be careful not to put any stress on the cord. In other words keep it in a straight line with the phone. Every phone I seen can be used while charging, this includes the iPad and iPhone. Your phone obviously won't charge as fast since it is being used.

Had another great day at work. Most everyone is so nice to work with its like being with a bunch of new friends. A couple of them were excited to tell me they saw me with my boy, riding his bike. My ex (Owens mom) called me to tell me he rode it without training wheels and that I should come over. She said he wasn't able to start on his own yet. So I got him starting on his own and that's when I made the iphone videos. Me, Owen and my ex watched the videos together later over coffee. We don't really pay attention to the court ordered days. A lot of times she'll call me to be with him at the house while she's off doing something.

Maybe you two can work things out?

It's her decision and it made me insane trying to figure out why.
It just didn't and doesn't make sense to me.

Sure, mine is on the charger now as I'm using it. I haven't noticed it taking longer to charge while using it but I haven't timed it either.
Also you can leave it on the charger as long as you want; over night or whatever is fine.

Yes. Just a quick side note though, it doesn't charge if it's turned off while it was plugged in.

That's not true. On the contrary, if you turn it off, it charges faster.
