Wow... sounds like you are a victim of the economic crisis. I am sorry that you arent very grateful for things you have and that you are wanting even more.
Tell your mom you will go without food for a month and will get your clothes for the upcoming school year from Goodwill if you could only have that phone.
Stop for a moment and think about how selfish your being.

Maybe..she thinks that you going to the amusement park is sort of like a birthday present... You might have to make a decision between a iPhone or the park! I would ask your mom ..happy early birthday :D
Relax, she's not made of money! Paying for an amusement park is expensive, so if you appreciated that, you'd be mature enough to consider that your present. It sounds like an iPhone is out of the question, so stop being a little stuck-up snob and accept that your mother can't afford to give you everything you want!
Are you sure you're not 4 going on 5. Try to give mom some respect. Is there ever a time you gave mom a hug and said thank you for being here?
ok first the park u can wait 4 that like u said 2nd the sleep over just try and b nice to her and ask y she doesnt want u to hav it and the i phone shes probly just sayin that so u wont look 4 it or somthing my parents did that to me
A birthday gift, or party is an extravagance, not an entitlement. Take whatever you do get gracefully, and with style.
I've never had a birthday party in my life, so don't whine, it's not the end of the world.
Probably a surprise like rachdawg said,Shout out to rachdawg:Nice answer.
Be first of thankful for your birthday! It is so real that do many kids don't get to your age suffering from cancer or some dreaded disease! Then be thankful for your mom! She is still your mom! Then don't sweat the small stuff! You may have 80 more birthdays and just wait the I phone may be a surprise! Happy Birthday!
Boy! You really should be glad your mom is trying to do something for you. I was a single mother and manage my monies very carefully, in other words its one thing or another, there are bills, the roof you lived under, the car than takes you everywhere, what about brothers and sisters. Not to mention what all your mom(parents) have to do for everyone in your family.
This is an URGENT question? Really? You sound just a bit spoiled to me. Poor you. When there are millions of innocent people being slaughtered in Syria, when people in the US can't eat or pay their bills. when children and families have to sleep in their cars. Be very grateful for what you have. And be thankful you have a birthday to celebrate...many children aren't so lucky.
I doubt your mom is deliberately trying to ruin your birthday. Understand that things cost money. Rent/mortgage, food, gas/lights etc. Be grateful for what your mom does do for you. It's not personal.
Sounds like fun but it also sounds super expensive never got to do anything like that when I was your age and this is the first year I am able to have a big party and i'm turning 16 this August all the other years were just hanging out at my house or at the park eating pizza and cake and I only got a birthday party every other year so I would count yourself lucky and guess what my present is for my 16th birthday.
...
Drivers Ed.
I'm not even getting a car or a new phone or anything else for that matter just Drivers Ed and i'm totally fine with it.
So why so selfish?
Be thankful for what you have.
um dont be too expectant its gonna get you nowhere in life. and yah be thankful for your birthday if your not as expectant your gonna be happy with what you get but if you wanted something else your gonna be acting mad and unthankful and we dont want that on a birthday do we :)
Oh my god. Your mom is paying for an amusement park for you AND your friends, she has to find food for the sleepover, AND you want an iPhone! Think about how selfish and annoying you sound.
She might be just saying she's only taking you to the amusement park. She might get you something else too. That's what my parents do. Even if you don't get anything else, you should be thankful for just going to the amusement park. Some kids wouldn't even be able to do that.
Hey, slow down. You can't get every thing you want. So what if you can't get some stupid phone? Your mom isn't made of money, here. Just be grateful that your not homeless with no food or water, and that your not in the edge of life and death starving off to the side of the rail road tracks. Your pretty ungrateful aren't you? Some of people would be happy with just a piece of scrap food, and you can't even be satisfied with the possibility of a brand new phone?! What is the world coming to where no birthday present is the end of the world..... By the way, "URGENT", really?!
maybe you shouldnt expect so much out of life...
