It doesn't affect mine but it sure affects people who are gay. They want the same right to marry as I do.
Because too many people are too religious to realize go himself wouldn't hate some one for being different , I'm sure that's his message , if religious people think gays can't be married because it's against bible , then why would god in the first place allow people to be gay

I have a gay friend...so I'm not against gay marriage but so..many people are because they believe(and if you read the bible which I do)that marriage is suppose to be between a man and a woman which it is because god made Adam and Eve not Adam and Adam make sense?
It's because a lot of people are ignorant, and idiotic. They blindly follow the bible, where it's stated that a man may not lay with another man.
Man +women = child
Man +man = gay
Women + women = gay

Because it's against the bible and they want to try and stop the gays because they think its not in God's will. They think they are helping out with little protests and other activities when really they should just focus on how to make their lives better instead of making others worse.

I know! I'd rather see two men holding hands rather than two men holding guns. It's partly because homosexuality is a sin according to the bible, but not everyone believes in the bible.
It doesnt affect anyone but yourself and all those who choose this type of life. Its In The HOLY BIBLE that its a sin to be with the same gender. And before anyone tries to say anything to me in regards to my opinion once again , I suggest you read the HOLY BIBLE first.

Here's my thing. I think gay marriage is okay. I come from a very religious background. I was told not too judge. Only God can judge. Therefore, all these Christians judging gay people on getting married is ridiculous and contradictory. By judging what gay people do is a sin. Let them get married. If it's a sin let God decide when the time is right. In the meantime, sit down, shut up, it doesn't affect you, it's not contagious so let them live their life. Besides it's the straight people who keep making gay babies in the first place.

the religious zealots that make a big stink about gay marriage need to judge themselves and not others. legalizing gay marriage has nothing to do with religion. a marriage license is issued by the state/government....does anyone remember about separation of church and state?
I can only speak about my own parents& grandparents and I don't think they were ignorant and stupid. They are gone now but if alive I know they would be dumbfounded by the thought of same sex marriage.
There were times growing up when we thought our parents were not as smart as we later realized they were. It looks like some of us are back where we started calling our parents stupid and ignorant again.
How about marrying your dog? Is that OK ? Repulsive? In a few years maybe your kids will call you stupid and ignorant if you think so.
One more thing stop blaming religion. How about just using a little common sense.
