Marriage is about LOVE nothing more and nothing less. Same Sex Marriage is about being treated equally and not being discriminated by close minded people just because of who you are. There are a lot of CIVIL issues tat people don't take into account.
If you are with someone (married) of the opposite sex and they are hospitalized you can go visit them, but if you are the same sex then you are denied. (I personally have a friend who has been with their loved one for 40 years and can't go see them "Because they aren't family" If the loved one happens to die then you are denied benefits and are basically tossed out on the street.
Don't try and bring religion and morality into what is actually a civil and human rights issue.
We really should be able to have both.I really don't know which one I would choose.I mean I love God,but I support g@y marriage. Then again (no offense to anyone) God may not be real.So I choose g@y marriage.
I pick neither, because I'm very religious. I'm not against gay marriage, though, I just wouldn't pick it for myself because I think it's really gross. But I'm not racist or against people who are gay.
What if you love a donkey? Should that be allowed? I mean where do we draw the line. Everyone has the right to choose how to live their life but should that mean we change the laws to accommodate everyone's wishes? God destroyed Sodom and Gamorrah for gross and gay sexual practices. I don't want to be destroyed.
-Full believer and follower of god -Full SUPPORTER of gay rights because I mean..we're all people and shouldn't be discriminated against because of a sexual preference! Let people be people, I mean just live your own life:)
