I need advice. read details.

August 17 I have to go back to hell (school) and I am not excited at all. How can I get excited? ill be in 9th grade.

Dude, there is nothing....absolutely nothing that will get you excited for school.....you said it yourself....it's hell

Think about all the good reasons of why you love school (i know there aren't very many) but think about seeing all your friends again that's a plus

Think about your future, and how these last few years of school will get you there. Just four more years of hell, and you'll be four years closer to making yourself some serious cash. 8-D God Bless.

Just think that if you will go to school, you will not be bored..you will learn, meet new friends,and socialize or mingle with people. Rather than staying at home, you will just be a couch potato., just think that your parents will be proud of you if you will go to school and learn.

I have twin boys starting their new HS in the 9th grade. School is what you make of it sweetheart. Tell me this: if not school what is it that you would like to do instead of school? If you're not working or doing something positive like school then the only thing left for you to do is get in trouble. This is your future and you have to want the best for yourself cause nothings free! So cheer up there's only 5 days of school you can do it!
Ps: Talk to your parents about home schooling. Maybe you'll enjoy this setting better

I am a single working mother with three boys and an absent father. I cant promise you it will be all ok as I'm not sure what is causing your fear. My youngest who graduated in 2010, was horribly bullied in junior and senior year to the point that he missed over 20 days each year. I was by his side as we had open communication. If that is your apprehension, tell your mom immediately if something should happen. Don't let it fester. He is now at University, on a scholarship, and is very happy. He realized he can be himself without judgement. If your just apprehensive, then relax, it is what you make of it. Meet new people and take advantage of everything they have to offer that you like. It can be the best 4 years of your life. Enjoy

Glowstick I'm very sorry to hear that your dad ran away. Draw your strength from your mom. She's still there by your side, going to work and that's to provide for you. Now you're the man of the house sweetheart and you can be a better man than your father. Don't do what he did, go to school honey and make yourself proud. Don't run like him! Once you get to school things will change because you will meet some new friends. U may not be excited now and that's ok but it's your responsibility to go to school! Give excitement time! You're gonna be just fine, u'll see. Your education is the only thing you can possess that no one in this world can take from you! You can do it! And the excitement will come in due time! Good luck and I'm rooting for you!
