DayZ lags a lot while online.

I bought ARMA II off Steam. I then downloaded the DayZ mod and it lags a lot when online, I have tried a lot of things to reduce the lag. Anybody know ways to make the lag go away.

In my opinion you should try reloading the game or starting a fresh. If it is still lagging then you can wait and try using it after sometime. DayZ is loved by people and so many people use it online making the network congested.

Well it could be any number of things chief among them; a virus, or your computer just doesn't have the space. Try deleting any video files even tiny ones are HUGE.
