For today. The meaning of life is trying. Everybody has to try. Some people harder than others. I was watching the Olympics earlier and rowing was on. There was a guy from Niger or Nigeria in the event. He just started rowing 3 years ago. He was so far behind the other three racers. He never gave up. He kept going as hard as he could. If they rowed in a circle he would have gotten lapped. Just think of what that guy went through every day to get to the Olympics knowing that he didn't have a shot at winning. It makes me think of times that I've given up before even starting. That's too hard I would say. Never again. It doesn't hurt to try.
There is no real meaning in life, only time and perspective. We try to give it meaning so we can cope with the obvious injustices felt around the world and in our own backyards. But perhaps, if we stopped seeking a meaning and decided to enjoy what time we do have, we may just all appreciate each other and life a little more. And perhaps, that's a meaning in itself. Carpe Diem.
Life. What a deep topic to venture in, and many humans dare too. The truth is, that it is different for every single human being in the world, for every human being who lived in the world, and for every single human being who will live in the world; it is what you yourself truly believe in. For every person has a different perspective of the world, different dreams, different lives, different deaths. What you do in your life matters. Don't heed the saying "YOLO". If there was only one life, then why would we have it? Every cause has an effect, so believe it this way. The way you live, directly effects the outcome, it has an effect, it has an afterlife. How you determine a "good and pious" life is your decision. We were born for a reason Rose.
