Why is ALMOST every girl obsessed with One Direction?

Ya I get that they are good singers but...... still why?

They're attractive, they have sexy accents, they look like angels, amazing voices, they're all really sweet, goofy, fun, hilarious, beautiful boys :)

Idk, maybe they feel some kind of personal connection with their music, like in the same way their parents did with the beatles. Know what I mean? Plus they're both British and came over to the U.S., they're exotic which is also appealing to all the little girls out there lol.

It's not that they are just good singers, you kinda fall for their personalities and there themselves they don't act like tough or anything it's just hard to explain(:

Haha I agree especially on ask.com for some reason. I dont think they're a big deal. I think most young teens like them because they're cute. It's like another Justin Bieber phase. I miss boy bands like Nsync or The Backstreet Boys though lol we used to obsess over them in the same way but at least they danced

Ugh, I don't know. I'm pretty much the only girl in my class who isn't a 'Directioner.' At first I tried to be like my friends, listening to 1D, saying they were hot, pretending I wanted to marry them when I was older and mermorising lyrics etc... But then I was like 'screw this, IDGAF about 1D,' so then I went and started listening to Breaking Benjamin (My older bro was listening to them and one day I heard it as I went into his room. Then I transfered some of his Breaking Benjamin songs onto my laptop)and now I freaking love them! But my friends mock me for it, and are really mean, so now I yell in their faces 'THATS LIKE ME SAYING 1D IS SH*T' and they're like ' :O ' and so I give them the f**k-you-don't-mess-with-breaking-benjamin-i-f**king-love-them-and-if-you-mock-me-for-it-I'll-swear-I'll-kill-1D look :D
