I have moved in to a house with out side weir problems please help

this house has a main line coming from the weather head and it just lays on the roof of the house so how can i get it off the roof or wat can i use to get it above the roof because i dont want to put in a new pole or meter is there a way to get it off roof and use insulators

To be safe, you MUST contact the power company. It's just not worth risking your life to save a few bucks. In most cases, the power company will not charge you anyway... the outside lines are their responsibility to maintain.

I'm pretty sure it's against ALL building codes to run the power lines over a structure. From the meter to the pole is the responsibility of the power company(you may have to replace the mast). They may have to add a pole or re-route the line from another pole.

You should consult with the local power company immediately. They should send technicians over who know how to handle such problems and also for your personal safety. The wire might be live and would be a serious hazard if you were to handle the problem yourself with the proper knowhow.
