It was sarcasm - I thought its inherent outrageousness made that apparent. On the other hand, I've often heard this heartfelt wish emerge from the zealots - and charlatans that prosper by instigating self-aggrandizement of believers over non- believers in the supernatural.

See God (duh?), meet dead relatives and historic heroes, watch over the living, be in paradise, fly, do whatever I want, and worship God with everyone in heaven! What's better than that? Also, commenters, capitalize the g in God!

:D You know...when I was younger, the thought of going to Heaven and worshiping God forever just seemed sooo monotonously boring. But after engaging in it, and feeling my heart nearly burst from the inexpressible love and joy God made me feel...WOW!! YEAH!! Its gonna be AWESOME!!!!!!

I'm scared to live forever just doing that of living forever what if we get bored when will it end I'm Christian and I love god but I'm scared of all this just where would we be if we didn't exisist :( help?

If you read Revelations 21 and 22 you will see how exciting it is. I was just like you where I got so scared that God didn't have eternity right. Then I thought about what I was saying. "God, the Creator who knows me better than I do, didn't do it right."
I facepalmed and read the verses^
Things kinda popped out of the Bible at me that I never knew were there. New Jerusalem, the holy city that Jesus said He is building for us, actually descends down to earth.. We don't go up to Heaven, but God Himself comes down to earth because His place is with us! Everything will be made perfect and new. We live in a dying and horrible world and yet we hang on to it scared that eternity won't meet our expectations.

And btw the city is gonna be the size of the state of Colorado. Except it's also the same length and width high.
So another words a giant square city made of clear Jasper and other precious jewels.

Heaven was made to be the royal place fit for us to see Gods presence. It is perfect but not ment for us. Eden was ment for us. The new earth is our home. Besides we aren't supposed to look forward to heaven or being out of hell, we are supposed to look forward to the reason we're going there in the first place. Jesus is the Lover of his bride as his bride we shouldn't care about the wedding more then the groom.

New Heaven is intended for us. New Heaven is what descends as the capital of the New Earth. Jesus built it for us.
