Personally I've always liked/used castrol products, they offer a full synthetic branded castrol edge.

My Jeep Liberty Sport's owner's manual suggested Mobil 1 Synthetic. At $6 a quart or so, it's pricey, but all oil is nowadays.

Yeah, mobile one is the top choice. But I watched people put it in Cadillac after Cadillac. And we still had Cadillacs in the freaking shop all the time. I highly recommend that whatever you choose, you look into how often people actually replace their standard oil in Europe. it's about every 5 to 6000 miles. Always checking your levels of course. The benefit of synthetic is they boast getting about 2000 miles more per oil change. I truly don't know if I believe it's worth the cost.

I use Mobil One In all my vehicles. Lowest price is the 5 quart jug at Walmart. Under $25. Use the weight recommended for your vehicle.

Mobil 1 synthetics are great. They are trusted from the manufacturers in performance vehicles to resist thermal breakdown and engine protection. Therefore you can't go wrong with them.
