The best solution to boredom is a new project. This is your chance to finally reorganize that closet. After that you can make sense of your computer files or defragment your hard drive. Sew a quilt, knit a scarf or learn to cook your favorite dish.
Sound like too much work? Get a stopwatch, take a deep breath, and find out how long you can sing a note. Or do everything in your power to avoid thinking about penguins. Or simply go outside and take a walk--you never know what you'll find out there!

I have never had a problem with boredom in my entire life. I have too many things i want to do and not enough time for them all. If something i am supposed to be doing is boring then my mind wanders to more interesting thoughts. I don't understand boredom.
When i do nothing, which is rare, then it is because i want to do nothing, not because of boredom.
I say .. go do, or even think about, something you enjoy!
This is an existential question, since boredom arises out of a lack of objectives or projects in life. In order to have a project or objective in life, you have to get to know yourself first as you develop self-steem (this is a long process of maturity). But sometimes boredom can be a symptom of a psychopathy; a person who sees a "flat" world, lacks empathy, insight, in-depth, and perspective; someone who feels cornered by reality and escape from it into the flat, stultifying world of boredom...For God's sake: do something, break out your shell, back into reality!

Might as well find out that certain dream you want to accomplish, not a major one, or whatever. When I'm bored I go to my favorite place, ROBLOX. Some of you might think its boring, but we have our opinions, and you dont have fun in it until you know it in and out. When your bored, though, you should find something entertaining to you. Maybe wash your parent's car, help out a neighbor rake their lawn, Jump in the pool with your friend(s), Anything! Remember, Anything is possible. When you're in doubt, and think something is impossible, remeber that impossible is "Im-Possible". :D
Volunteer to help those less fortunate to be bored. There is more happiness in giving than in receiving. Is there an elderly person in your neighborhood who could use some help with washing windows, cutting the lawn, pruning flowers, shrubs, or picking up leaves? Can you help out younger ones in a topic you enjoy, perhaps an instrument? Can you visit the senior center and ask if someone needs help carrying groceries? This is your time to shine! Do something extra nice for your parents without them asking?
A very wise lady told me long ago ... Whatever you do ... don't ever admit to Anyone that you are bored ... because ONLY boring people every get bored!!! Read! Learn! Take a walk and really look at your surroundings! Appreciate the power of the Creator, the Inventor, and the builder of everything you see! Learn to be inquisitive! Ask questions of those around you about how they do things and what they do. Give a compliment to everyone you meet who does something well. Never pass up an opportunity to learn something new ... you may need that very knowledge someday yourself!

If you're bored, do something interesting that'll occupy your mind. Something active and fun like a half hour workout or a simple sport with your friends. Read a book, play a video game but if you really can't think of anything fun than just take a nap.
Go outside! And call a few friends and play frisbee in the sun. If your friends are busy or something you could always read or do something creative. Art or photography!

Pray, spend time with your higher power, read, do yard work, clean up...nothing can be to clean, go help someone like an elderly & or disable family member, friend or neighbor, exercise, bath your pet, walk your pet, start a journal, go to the park, oh yeah start a hobby like scrap booking, help someone plan an event, or just volunteer doing something you like, love, or enjoy.

Hmmm...if you had an awesome dream lately, then write or type it down and if you want, turn it into a story by changing a few things here and there. I do that all the time. It gets.to the point where your imagination and creativity gets so huge that you can simply stare at a wall and see your dream as if a projector was there.

Today to kill boredom, I made a ship out of Popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, glue, and a wash cloth and had a viking funeral for some dead bugs I found. The possibilities are endless :D
