Pretty much. I'm among the minority of teenage girls who refuse to be assimilated into the mass of ignorant (possibly deaf :P) girls. I listen to Panic! at the Disco, Breaking Benjamin and Evanescence because of their music. Honestly, it's the fact that their "hot", not that they are above average musicians.

Because little girls are the easiest target for the record companies. They are the most susceptible to trends. If the record company says it's a hit, the little robots follow their programming and do as their masters tell them. It's the same with fashion, they're sIaves to the fashion industry too.
And why do they need FIVE singers anyway? Are they so untalented that it takes five of them to do what good bands only need one? haha
