they are no fun, they don't cuddle, care about you or anything at all, it just poops and eats, if you pick it up then it attacks. I had a few growing up. if you want a weird pet just get a rat, they are sweet, cuddly and much smarter.

I wanted a bunny really bad too. Then I got one and it hardly let's me even pet it, I can never pick it up without it clawing me to death. It smells, and all it's really good at is urinating and pooping..I only wanted it because it was cute...now I kinda regret it.

but the baby i might get is soooo nice and sweet and lets me flip it over on its back and rub its tummy

Yeah. Bunnies are fun to watch as they eat and if you get them when they're babies, they won't bite. As for the rats, TOTALLY agree with you!!!!!

It really depends on the personality, gender, or breed. I had a male holland lop (best bunny breed, almost dog-like) he LOVED to be held and cuddled! He let me know when he wanted to be held by stretching up to me. He loved to play chase, like a dog.

But I'm also a good judge at what animals have special personalities:) all my pets have been sweet and lovey and unique. Some people just don't know how to pick out pets.

Maybe my bunny was different because i got it from a different owner, and it was 5 months old. So you'll have a better relationship with the bunny as a baby.

Start working around the house to show that you are responsible and then ask if you can get it. Use any saved money to buy a good sized cage, wood chips, bunny food dish and food, bunny water dish, and if it is hot where you are, a cold marble slab. You have to pay for the majority of it or work and pay your parents back and promise to them if it persuades them. I'm allergic to bunnies. And rats. Rats are the best pets EVER!!! When you get them as babies anyway.
