combine travel with hiking/walking every day ... my boyfriend and I take 10 day to 4 week trips, driving all over the country ... we walk/hike somewhere interesting and beautifual every day on the trip, at least a few miles, whilch is easy when you are interested in your surroundings and not focusing on the 'workout'. we live in FL and almost everyday, when at home, includes an approximate 1-1/2 to 2 mile walk on the beach ... the same beach can look like a different place everyday. if i'm walking by myself, i have my ipod on and have found myself having walked further than planned
My mother always said that swimming is the best exercise. She was right. Less stress on your joints. You use your whole body. Washing and cleaning a car is good exercise. You have to stretch and pull but not too much. Let me know when you want to stop by!
