I listen to alot of rap and how long does it take before a song isn't "new stuff" anymore?

Who cares? I'm utterly sick of music being treated like fashion these days. They want you listening to whatever's "in" every three months to keep money pouring in since online piracy took control out of their hands. Screw that. I'll listen to Hendrix, Dire Straights, Nirvana, Jim Morrison, Guns N' Roses, Creed and whoever the Hell else I want regardless of what's "in" or "out". Music is forever, kid, and don't let the industry manipulate you otherwise.

I don't think songs ever get old but to the general public a song is old once it reaches around a month or two
