What is a problem that needs to be fixed?

by that I mean for example, the average ladder is kinda unstable and can be fixed by adding a stablizing platform. I need to find something that could be improved for an upcoming class and I was hoping to get a head start on it.

Already did it lol. All it takes is 3 rubber bands and 4-5 popsicle sticks, and maybe some ductape. Ductape the sticks to the toaster right above the thing you push down (triangle shape works the best.) Then simply put the rubber bands around the push down thing and the sticks and your toast shall hit the ceiling!

Front loading washing machines. They always get moldy inside because the lids close water tight-- no air circulation.

Ooh! I wondered why that happened. I thought it was part of the machine design. Yes, when I use a top loader I leave it open when done. If you do this to a front loader, it's a hazard to anyone walking by.
