What do people mean by treating your abs like every other muscle?

i hear people saying there abs are so good is because they treat there abs like ever other muscle what do they mean i am very confused do they mean by high reps or do they mean by weight and low reps and i read people talking about reps 20-30 is that high or low reps for abs i don't know please help?

Abs are like any other muscle because they need time to recover working out abs everyday is a waste of time.
