Long story short: I have a bump in my leg

Few months ago I fell off the couch on my bum/thigh and left a huge purple bruise. it was there for a while and now it's completely gone but if I touch the area where it used to be bruised I can feel a lump and it's slightly (very slightly) painful. Does anyone know what it could be?

Chances are it is blood slowly being reabsorbed from the bruising. No need for a doctor....
