The bible does address the issue. I am a Christian and I believe God loves all of us. We are all his children, so I don't believe you go to hell for being gay. People don't choose to be gay, I believe they are born that way. Just my opinion.

The bible says that homosexuality is an abomination to God. I do not believe in religion but I believe in a relationship with Christ :) if someone, no matter what the sin is, sexual or otherwise, is actively sinning, not repentant of the sin, then yes, that individual may go to hell.
It is proven that people who are gay, there brain functions differently. it is not a choice they make. and No god loves all of his creations no matter what. so personally as a christian i do not think so.

I'm not very religious either, and honestly when some Christians say that gay people go to hell because god doesn't like gays, what happend to "love thy neighbor" or god loves everybody, or even god created everybody. Why would he not like someone HE created? I personally believe everyone is equal and everyone deserves equal rights, no matter what!

We're led to believe we will all go to hell if we've sinned and not repented and asked for gods forgiveness, to some,homosexuality is a sin, to some, soldiers being killed in battle is punishment for homosexuality, tsunamis destroying villages is because of homosexuality. So you tell me if god is all forgiving, loves all his children and has created us all equally why would he punish some of us for our thoughts or choices in life? Apparently we can go out and sin our asses off daily but as long as we go to church and ask for forgiveness we're ok. Can you say hypocrits! Being gay is a sin. So is lying, cheating on your spouse, murder, disobedience, fornication, stealing, etc. Sin separates us from God. If you die in sin, you'll be forever separated from God, which means you'll spend eternity in hell. (The same judgment is true for a liar, adulterer, murderer, etc) We were all born into sin. We all have sin-natures. The only way we can be saved from sin & go to heaven after death is by believing on Jesus, repenting of our sins, and asking forgivness. The only way to heaven is Jesus. All other options lead to hell.
On this site, I've heard people say that our God can't possibly be the God of love if He sends His creations to hell. God loves you & He sent His ONLY SON to die for you so you can live in heaven forever. That is love. If you reject His love gift, then that's your choice, not God's. He made a way to heaven through Jesus. It's your choice. Believe & live or reject Him & die. Instead of forcing us to mindlessly worship, God gave us the freedom to choose. What will YOU choose? Stay in sin. Or repent & live. Period.

I don't think gay people will go to hell. I'm a Christian, but I believe everyone has a right to love and marry regardless of sexuality. Judging is a sin, so his hating... Think about it. There are so many people I've seen on here who say hurtful, nasty things about bring gay. If anyone is going to hell, it sounds like they are for judging and hating.
No. You are supposed to be able to start your own family, if physically possible. And if it is gay as in "attracted to others of the same gender", I believe it is caused by a messed up hormone, so it's hard to fix. As for ACTING like the other gender, that's just weird and not right. I don't think you'll go to hell for it though, unless you knew it was wrong and knew you could change it.

I don't know a definitive answer to this question. The bible does say homosexuality is an abominion to God, but the Catholic Church was responasible for the interpretation of the bible from Latin to English. They are known to have put up a church that has priest who must be ceelibate, where people must go to confession and have the priest give them panance for their sins, They have an idol of Mary to whom people pray. The bible never said any of those things were necessary to be a christian. They removed almost all references to reincartnation because people would not be afraid enough to follow the rules they were setting up.

My religion believes in the holy ghost that is what most people call your conscience it gives people impressions of what they should or shouldn't do, or what is wrong and what is right. Take into account that maybe this is the holy ghost trying to tell you what is wrong and what is right. Try praying to God for help to know what to do, and for comfort. Don't be afraid to pray to him just be remember to pay close attention to the response you get from God. Praying is like a phone call to heaven. It doesnt say "if your gay you will go to hell" but it says " gay is a sin" and it also says if you live in lots of sin its even more major you can go to hell. So being gay is living in sin. U have a huge chance of going to hell if your gay.

God's love is unconditional? Hm. That's incorrect. There are definitely conditions in the bible. The big condition? The only path to Him is through His Son Jesus. Homosexuality is listed as a sin, just as lying. Acceptance of Jesus will bring about a life of redemption. We're all condemned to Hell until we turn to the Savior. Each has his/her own journey from that point on. Get into a good church and you'll learn. I say a GOOD church, none are perfect, but many will not accept you if you are gay...give them a break they're still learning. lol God allows us to live by Grace (once we accept His son) which means we'll still continue to sin but our sins were forgiven through the shed blood of Christ on the cross. It's through His sacrifice that we're redeemed. The rest is up to you.

It doesn't say that you will go to hell. God doesn't agree with it, but only he knows who is going to heaven or hell. You have a choice as to how you live your life. Do what you feel is right for you. If your afraid of that then maybe homosexuality isn't for you.
