well i have a babby cousin and he started to say real words when he was 1 1/2 years old but he only knew a little bit. now he's 2 and he can a little more and he knows how to sing but you can barely understand.
Well it depends where and who the child is being raised with. Like for example if his/her parents teach the child words or say things near him/her they will learn quicker. It also differs according to its rate of development.
