How do I fix the white screen on VisualBoyAdvance games?

I'm trying to play Pokemon Sapphire on VisualBoyAdvance. Every time I load it, I get a white screen. Pokemon Emerald works perfectly. Here's the wierd part: changing to Flash 128K saves doesn't work. Here's the really wierd part: I've been using it for a week (it even worked earlier today), but now it won't start. Ideas? Thanks.

You can fix the white screen on Visual Boy Advance games by opening the emulator on your device. Once you have opened it, go to options and select emulator. On the emulator options, select save type and then choose Flash128k and save. After you have saved, restart the device and continue to play.

I specifically said that changing to Flash 128K saves don't work. Still getting a white screen.

I tried the same thing Saxy, and it didn't work UNTIL I:
1. had my settings on flash128k save.
2. Closed out of the emulator
3. DELETED THE ORIGINAL emerald .sav file, which should be in the same folder as your ROM
4. Restart the whole emulation process, and Whala.

Hope this helped some people.
