Has anyone ever used John Frieda precision foam color and what did you think?

I recently purchased John Frieda precision foam color and went online to look at the reviews. They were mixed. Some people loved it and some people thought it was terrible. I normally use L'Oreal. I was wondering what other people thought of this product or if you know any other brands you would recommend?
