Why are boys so mean to girls at school?

Some boys do this because they like the girl. But this is a sign of immaturity too. Remember not all boys are mean. There's plenty of nice boys still out there.

Prob to show that theyre strong....some go just to show off....get attention....but if its more like teasing then they have a crush on whoever the girl is :p

Some boys still need to show they are tougher but at the same time it is a sign of weakness or lack of pride in self

It depends. I mean, a boy called me names when I was in 2nd grade (I'm 13 now) and he asked me out recently! Not that I said yes........
