Can I sue a hospital for giving me wrong quotes and meds.?

If doctors told you that you had kidney infection and gave you prescription(which I was unaware I was allergic too)for it,but come to find out that that wasn't the case(another doctor) from a second quote.meaning I didn't have kidney infection yet I took the prescription they prescribed me which made me unhungry, drowsy, and gave me hives.now I know I don't have Kidney infection and got the meds.and feeling better.

Ok, so im thinking you probably took those antibiotics(that you didn't know you were allergic too) for a few days before going to the doctor because of the allergy..the new doctor that you saw probably gave you another urinalysis, which probably showed lack of infection since antibiotics become affective 48hours of taking. Maybe there was not nearly enough infection to be seen at that time...? As for suing...really? Is this just so you can get money? or do you really feel you were victimized??? First off..you didn't know you were allergic to the first antibiotics..NOT the docs fault at all! It's all circumstantial ....I wouldnt even try...

I didnt even think of that point, about infection clearing up. That is why they say take ALL of antibiotic even if symptoms disappear..u know cud come back/ or ur body-bacteria can build immunities to antibiotic... Good point nurse

Oops phone died... What I meant to say is a lot of drs will call it a kidney infection after finding certain bacteria in ur urine or blood and they can rule eveything else out. Plus it's makes a huge difference if you went for urgent care vs pcp. A lot patient 1st and er drs are harried, overworked, and understaffed so they don't have the time to spend on patients that arent bleeding or have something broke unlike a primary care physician, who can sit down with you, go through your chart and med history
