How old do you have to be to be an exchange student?

I'm thinking about going to England. Also if anyone knows how much it cost it would be helpful, same with any additional information

You have to be at least 14 years to be allowed to be a foreign student. You also need to have permission from your parents or legal guardians. Some of the reputable exchange programs include Rotary, YFU and AFS.

I think you can go in intermediate, but its probably best if you go when your in years 11-13. and it will be quite expensive, however the cost depends where you would be flying from.

Ive never known any exchange students younger than 17. Im pretty sure you have to be ready for your senior year or the equivalent.
