Will someone please help us!?!?!?!?!? PLEASE?!? :'( </3

my friend is 16 and thinks she might be pregnant. her mom will kick her out if she is. when she told me this I asked her where her mom planned on her living. she said "I don't know where she expects me to live..." and her mom started SCREAMING at her, saying "where are you going to live? figure it out on you're own!" at that point she was crying and asked her mom "what do you mean? I don't have a job or a car or anything! I'll be on the streets!" an her mom actually LAUGHED! and she said "that's not my "F"-word-ing fault! I'm not the sl*t who got pregnant!" and then I started yelling at her mom and calling her all sorts of profanity... but anyway, my mom and i are willing to take her in, but how can we do this legally? we live in new york state. please she is one of my best friends, and she needs me right now. I've tried to find legal information that would help, but haven't had any luck. please help! i don't want my best friend to be on the street!!! :(

Legally the mom is still responsible for her daughter until she's 18. But from a
Legal standpoint you'd have to get an attorney and have mom give up her legal rights to her kid and then your mom could become her legal guardian.

Hope it all works out, hopefully her mom just needs to calm down and realize what she stands to lose by disowning her child.

My mom says you don't need a contract or anything unless you have a land lord. But that is if she is not a minor. Just do it until she gets a job and a car and is able to buy a house. It may be for minors too, but I'm not one hundred percent sure

first of all she cant kick her out till shes 18! second, she needs to make sure if she rly is pragnant or not! third: she needs to get an abortion before its too late!

Yea. Murder the Baby because it is the Babies fault. And that's whats wrong with this world. I wish people who say that, would have had parents that aborted them.... But they didn't... Obviously.
