I have a 2008 Pontiac G6 GT. There is water under my carpet on my floor boards, back and front passenger.

I know that it is not my sunroof drain because I tested it and it works fine.

Another vote for heater core failure. If you can't afford to have it repaired properly at this time have the heater bypassed so you can safely drive the car. You can then save money to have the core replaced before the weather gets cold.

Check the windows. Make sure your weather stripping is in tact.

I believe it is because your heater core has gone out.

I had this happen to me recently in my expedition. Turns out it was the heater core. Do you also have leaking from underneath your car? Also if you have a back windshield wiper you could have a leak there, only if you lose your wiper fluid quickly though. Good luck
