gymanrs... it IS fun, but it is also very stressful. While I find joy in plowing, planting, tilling, spraying, fertilizing, harvesting, and raising cattle, I also am at the mercy of the weather. It can be too cold, too hot, too wet, too dry... and then there are the invasive weed and insect species. But I wouldn't trade it for anything, I really wouldn't. Nothing compares to watching a calf be born, seeing it take its first steps, or seeing it nurse off its mama for the first time ever. And the first time a calf realizes that it has a cud to chew? The look on its face is PRICELESS!!!
