You'd better go, because you REALLY need an education, because you certainly can't speak ENGLISH very well

You have to make them go, or you will be charged with neglect. Unless you want to try homeschooling or a private school. As for his reason being it is in TX and not in Riverside CA, too bad. Life is full of changes, he needs to learn this lesson now. Besides he might meet his newest best friend for life if he just gives it a chance. I could go on about how he should be grateful that he has an opportunity for an education, when so many others on this earth don't. Or how children of military personnel have to change schools every few years so that they parents can put their life on the line for his right to an education. I got a lot more if you want to send him my way!

If she doesn't the state will ensure the child goes to school.

Yes, a mother can make a child go to a school he don't want to go to school at. He will have to deal with it. It's just for his education. Education's more important than anything else. He will have to go anyhow, if he likes it or not. Plus, Gatorblu is right.

Child do not have much critical thinking,I think his mother should assume strength,not fragility to make his child to go to school

It hard to do. Ecspecially the older they get. When they are younger, force it because they will make friends there soon and they can grow up with those people. But I understand it's hard when you want them to be happy.

Absolutely - put him in your car and drive him to the school, and walk him to his classroom. In most states parents are held legally responsible for their child's truancy. So unless you want to end up in court, it's in your best interest to find a way to get him there.

If they get up in the morning and won't go all you have to do is call the police . I promise you they will come to your house and make sure your child makes it to school . I have seen it done .

Yes you are right, but Cps have been involved 2, he has put his mom in the hospital, all to say get me away from her, 5 years in a CA COURT, expert say get him out of here.

You don't say how old s/he is and that is important information. If she goes to the school of her choice, there will be less conflict in your home. Make a deal: you cave and she chooses the school, BUT there can't be more than five unexplained absences in the entire year or she gets transferred to the other school. Make things a little easier for yourself. Parents of teens need a break sometimes too.

So it's ok for a mother get away with calling him name like N and slam a playstacion on his foot and the nail came off the court of Cali didn't do anything just let her go.......

Yes mom dad or any parental adult can make a child go to school regardless if the kid want to go to that school or not. If you live in one school district and you take the kid to another district you usually have to pay to enroll in the other school. If not you can be fined severely for falsifying information to the school district regarding where the child lives
