Not really. A whole bagel has 80 carbohydrates -- that's a lot. And they are processed, so eating a bagel is just eating empty carbs. Some bagels have seeds and oats on them, but their nutritional benefit is minimal and not worth all the calories and carbs that come along with it. Plus, add in the stuff people put on bagels (fatty cream cheese, sugary jam, etc.), and you're really just better off not having eaten it at all.
Yup! Give us this day our daily bread and bagels are right in there. BUT if you have a wheat allergy or sensitivity to yeast, you need an alternative. Make your own bagels to be sure there are no chemical additives and you can be sure of healthy bread.
