Drinking water a lot after smoking can minimize the effect of nicotine inside our body?

a friend of mine told me today drinking water a lot after smoking cigratte will minimizes the effects of nicotine (found in smoke), i don't believe this. i told him this is not true but he said this is fact. can any body please tell me what is the truth.

As an aspiring quitter, I gotta say whats the point of smoking if you have to do all that? Just don't smoke. Quit while your ahead.

ya i told him too but he says he wants the smoke not the nicotine.

That's silly. He could at least use an electric cigarette. That would eliminate all the other toxins he's putting in his body along with the nicotine.

ok im not a bro, im a lady who works in medical field, water is clear none ingredient liquid that helps to wash of all the bacterias, germs, and a lot more, a lot ppl drink water when they sick or have the flue, or if they want to lose weight, and a lot more water can help to wash of the bad things in side your body!

Maybe but really just stop smoking all together drink waters not going to cure what your doing to your body
