Can someone on Omegle track you down?

My friend goes on Omegle and I'm not so sure it's very safe. If you chat with them or video chat with them are they able to track down your location if I'm using my laptop?

Yes if someone obtains an ip adress there are many ways to do this over a video or video chat if someone was looking for him which is rare , don't worry about it
