What would cause my heart to beat really fast when I'm not even moving around?

I'm 18. I don't gave any heart diseases.

Also if you are consuming excess amounts of caffeine.It causes heart problems.see a cardiologist to get a diagnoses.it might be an arrhythmia or even worse a murmur. I had a temporary heart murmur when I was drinking a lot of Mt.Dew.They can be dangerous. Thank GOD it went away.if you take caffeine with meds containing affedrine can cause your heart to race because they both stimulate you.cold meds and caffeine don't mix well. see ur doc.

The reason your heart beats very fast when you are not even moving around could be caused by anemia, dehydration, thyroid disorders, low blood pressure, fever, infections in the lungs, heart disorders and many more. A normal heart beat ranges from 60 to 100 beats per minute.

Right.a normal resting heart rate is usually around 70.

hi my six year old heart always beat fast i am very worried abot her she had a problem in the past as she was in and out of hospipal so much test was done and still no anwers she gets fevers still sometimes but not as much as she use to but even if she dont have a fever her heart beat is fast really want to take her to a cardioligist but really dont have money to waste as for the past two years she had lotsa test done and @ the end no anwers if theres away to no what can of doctor do i take her to
