I updated my iOS of my iPod and backed it up first then I downloaded iOS 4.2 and synced my iPod all my apps came but no music it is also ...

not on my iTunes account any more can you help also I have a iPod touch 3G and with the 4.2 update I should be able to put backgrounds on my home screen but it doesn't give me this option under photos or settings like it should thank you.

I had the same problem. You have to specifically choose to synch all your music. While you're synching, you should see a tab to synch music. Go to that tab and select "synch all" or "Synch purchased music". That worked for me.

Unfortunately, 3G and 3GS do not have support for background images. 4.2 OS does, but you have to have a 4 phone or iPod to have a background image. I tried that on my old 3G phone and had the same problem. Went to the Apple store and they told me that only 4 supports background images.

Sync it again in the computer and if it doesn't come up go t apple

But with the update it also deleted it off my computer
