I have headaches a lot. Why?

I'm not dehydrated, I don't drink caffeine, I don't think I have vision problems, I haven't had a head injury, I'm not on any medication, I don't work around chemicals, and I don't have teeth problems. Recently, my jaw started hurting a lot ; so, my mom took me to an orthodontist. It turns out I have a slipped disk in my jaw. I now wear a splint 24/7. That was supposed to end my headaches because (supposedly) my jaw was the cause of my headaches. I've been wearing my splints for a month now & I still get headaches often. I've had 5-7 headaches since July 2. Anyone know why I have these headaches?
I think my menstrual cycle is one trigger & stress brings them on too, I think. But, still... Is having frequent headaches normal? When I get them, light HURTS. And I can't read or play on my phone. TV is annoying & moving makes me feel awful.
Help?!

I went to a doctor for the same symptoms. I've been discovering natural cures. make sure you're not eating too much MSG, a product commonly found in fast food and pre-cooked/pre-prepared foods..and even in chips and stuff like that. also it could be from perfumes or scents. try to pay attention to when you first get your headache, take notes and try to find their common ground.

That has happend to me too where I cant read or anything! One of my friends had that too but I think it was a head injury. I can't think of anything it would be! If nothing's comes up and you can't find the source, if it keeps going I think it would be a good idea to see a doctor

Your consistent headaches could be caused by hypoglycemia, which transpires when your body is low on glucose. It could also be caused by chronic fatigue syndrome, which is typified by a constant feeling of tiredness. Having frequent headaches is not normal. Consult a doctor for more details.

Hypoglycemia? Are there any other sypmtoms that you know of? I'll check that out. Thanks!
I don't feel tired all the time, but I could look that possibility up too.
Thank you for your help! (:

The splint is teaching you how to relax your jaw. Try to notice the state of your muscles, and when they're tensed, relax. Notice what you were thinking about when you started getting tense. If you have any unspoken anxieties, find someone to talk to about them. Yoga can be helpful to learn how to relax your muscles and mind.
