I need some advice. Please help me! thank you!

So, I've known this guy since the fourth grade and I'm now in the tenth. I've always cared about him soooo much. We were best friends before we even told each other our romantic feelings. We were always so comfortable around each other. I didn't realize I loved him until last year when we had our first kiss. He was never that guy who cheated on me or lied to me.. It was obvious we both really cared about each other but I was always moving away from him because my parents are military... but now I live two hours away from him and I'm graduating here. He wants to do long distance with me since we're planning to have a relationship in the future, beyond High School.. but in all of our previous relationships one of us always got hurt. He says he can do it now though because he's older and more mature than he was before. He wants to go to prom together and visit and spring break and everything... I really want to believe him because I've known him for so long and for a Military child, it's rare to be with someone like that so long. I really think he could be "the one".. not trying to sound cliche or anything. Should I do long distance and risk getting hurt?

Take the risk! If you get hurt, you get hurt. But then at least you know you tried for something! Long distance now could really strengthen your relationship too so in the future you'll really be able to trust each other. Good luck with love :)

Take the risk, if you really love him it's worth it!

Go for it. If you get hurt again, well... you haven't really lost any ground.
