How do you know an old family friend likes you?

I had this guy friend back around when I was 8 or so and our moms' were really close. When he was about 11 or 12 he had to leave because of a family situation. Well, he's 16 only a few month older than me. He added me on Facebook a few days ago & we been talking ever since thru Facebook & phone. I never remembered him nor any guy who has been nice as he. And he says once he's done with all his schooling is definitely coming back to find a job here near me & to hang out with me. Haha, and I think my cooking is making him more tempted. He misses me & misses FL. Do you think he may like me? We're so alike, we're almost 100% alike.

Just proceed cautiously. Make sure it is you he really likes and doesn;t expect you to furnish lodging, food and other goodies while he "looks" for a job. There;s lots of them out there, Maybe he is different and decent but do go into this friendship with eyes wide open. Learn about his background since you last saw him and keep your eyes wide open. Hope it works out fr you.
