How do you follow people on here and why?

new to ask.com and was browsing through and noticed a following section.

How to follow; Click on the user click follow

Why to follow; if you like advice someone has given and want to see other topics they may have answered or two because you had a common question with another user and want to watch that post and see possible answers.

Well you follow them if you are interested in their answers/questions/comments so like that you can be able to see their q&a
