why do some people give bad answers and then when someone comments on their answer they act like the other person is being mean to them

because they corrected them

Well. I've seen answers that were correct and the person asking the question just gets upset because they didn't like the answer. So I think it works both ways. Everybody here comes from different backgrounds and have a different way of thinking. What you may deem a correct answer may not be so according to a different person.

They don't have a life? Or maybe the answer seems correct to them. :)
Or maybe they just get offended easily.

Many questions I've answered here are a matter of opinion, so there is no "correct" answer. Frankly, I don't care if someone doesn't like my opinion... It's MY opinion, and my opinion on people getting upset over other people's opinions is... Get over it! That's just my opinion... :)
