Are hedgehogs good pets please read the details

I'm thinking about getting one so i was wondering if they escape their cage, if they're loud, and if they're friendly

my friend has a pet hedgehog, its pretty cool...very friendly lil creature...not sure if all them are though

Yes, hedgehogs are good pets. They do have spines, but they are not dangerous like porcupines. They are quite cuddly and fun to play with. They make a great companion. Hedgehogs are cool pets. Good luck!!

My son works at an aquarium with hedgehogs on exhibit. They do ram or charge with extended-spine when they feel threatened. These are semi-domesticated hogs.
