Its hard to answer your question unless you specificfied your question. There are lots of serpent gods in many mythical tells spanding across many cultures. In Africa, and Australia, there were tells about a mythical Rainbow Snake that was god of creating rivers, creeks, and oceans, or mother Earth its self. The Aztec and Toltec believed in a snake god called Quetzalcoatl, and in Chinese mythology they believed in a type of serpent god named Naga, to just name a few.
A mythical serpent god is a class of entity or being, which takes the form of a very great snake. Mythical serpent god is also known as naga in Chinese. Visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N%C4%81ga for more details.
Depends on what mythology you mean. Egyptian great serpent god is apophis, Australian aborigine great serpent is the rainbow serpent, Christian serpent is Satan. I'm sure most or all mythologies have serpents in them somewhere, these are just a few that I could think of off the top of my head.
