How much does a teacher get paid? What's their normal salary?

It depends, public school teachers get paid LOTS more than private school teachers do, but the comments above (excluding the first one) seem accurate

I think it's usually in the neighborhood of 28-35 thousand per year

In the first years it's about $30,000 or so a year and as the years go by it raises and raises to about $60,000.
