Is the Bible and God real, if not can you prove it??

But they can still believe what they want even if they are wrong. There's no sure way to tell if Gods real it's whatever you believe

True, but shouldn't the burden of proof be on those that claim he/she is real? One cannot prove that the flying spaghetti monster does not exist.

I agree. It should be on those that claim he/ she is real. Sadly they are the ones that are the loudest but that does not make them right,

Yes God and the Bible r real . People who don't believe in God or the Bible might say they r not real b/c u can't see them but u can't see air eitther and we know it's real.

Scientists proved that air is real by capturing it in a balloon if you capture god in a balloon then I would believe that got is real.(or some other such test)

But we can prove that air exists. It takes up space, as we see when we fill up a balloon or blow bubbles. It provides observable resistance, as we see when a feather takes long to fall than a penny.

Yep. It says that God created the heavens and the earth and goes on to talk about the creatures of the air land and sea that He placed therin. It also states that Gods time is not our time so logic brings the conclusion that dinosaures ect were the first to roam the earth. We have proof of dinosaurs from fossils we also have proof that the events in the bible r true from remnants of Noahs Ark and such. So while I believe in God and the Bible I also believe that the theory of evolution is possible. With God all things r possible:)

As dross1958 said, nobody here can prove or disprove the existence of God. But I believe the burden of proof should be with those who argue he DOES exist, because you cannot disprove the existence of anything that supposedly defies the laws of the world we know. For example, try proving that the flying spaghetti monster does not exist. Prove that Santa Claus does not exist. Prove that Ganesha does not exist.

True believers of any religion or belief are scary to me.

Where is reason, education, thought, questioning, science ? That is what I find the scariest.

I have no problem with believers. They can be thoughtful people who question things, but their faith is not one of the things they question. Or maybe it is something they questioned once in their lives and ultimately decided it made sense to them. It may not make sense to me, but it doesn't have to in order for me to respect their right to believe.

What does scare me is those who try to make others abide by the rules of their faith or block the spread of knowledge that conflicts with their faith.

When asked I will give my opinion but I try not to force ppl to believe I mean really how could I force someone to believe something they can't wrap their minds around? I've noticed in other discussions that non believers can also get scary and very defensive. To me from what I've read and seen God exsits and the bible is true. My heart won't let me believe otherwise but I totally also believe that everybody has a right to believe what their heart and soul tells them. So if u don't believe in God or the Bible I can respect that. I just really like discussing this issue hearing from non-believers and their view of things is interesting to me

The key word here is proof. What is proof and what is required to proof something, even the scientific community dosen't use the scientific methods definition, that is something has to be obseravable or reproducable to be prooven. So a more logical definition as it is being applied today is the removal of all doubt. So if there is no doubt in your mind as to the existance or nonexistance of God then it has been prooven to you. Those who still have doubt are still seeking additional evedence one way or another. So what do you still need to know to remove that doubt.
