Got a ticket and wondering if i pay by mail do i have to go to the hearing.(im 18 years old)?

If you were given a court date you have to go. If not mail it. Just call and ask, they'll let you know.

If they mailed you a date to go you have to go..if you do not show up you get a warrant. If they haven't mailed you a letter you should go in and pay it anyway it safer for you..

Nope, just mail it in, the date on the back is for the hearing, you can call the court house and tell them you choose to fight it, or just go ahead and pay it. They don't give you a court date for tickets, they give the cop a court date-that way if he wrote 200 tickets that month and everyone chose to fight it you'd all be there.99.9% just mail it in-the odds are way against you-most of the time it is the cops word against your word-who do you think the court favors-that's why most don't waste an entire day just to lose

Usually you can pay it off at local police station or town hall. Mailing it in should be fine, but I wouldn't mail cash.
