How do make a mob spawner in minecraft?

Im trying to make a trap but i need to make a spawner....how do i do it?

First, you need to download the mod Craftable Spawners directly from a "Minecraft" resource website, like Planet Minecraft, Game Front or also Minecraft Forum and then unload the Craftable Spawners download file. Once done, you should open your "Minecraft" installation listing and put the files into the "Mods" folder in the directory. sorry bro, you cant make them, the only way to get them is to spawn them in with too many iteams

Mob spawners cannot be made, they can only be found.
