Minecraft: Can you find a temple in a world that wasn't generated in 1.3?

You cannot find a temple that was not generated in 1.3. You can only find a temple in the Overworld, where the Nether has got only one structure called the Nether Fortress. It is constructed on the dimension-specific Nether Brick and is the only place you will find Nether Wart.

YES YOU CAN! You just hafta go far out from your spawn, and generates new areas an new biomes will form with the updated changes
