You will not die from a hole in your ear drum.

Naw you won't go deaf. I have the same thing. It's just harder to hear for me sometimes, and my ear spasms every now and then.

The ent (ear, nose, and throat) Dr can patch it up. I had mine patched up right in the Dr's office. Didn't hurt, and the hearing was amplyfied. Check with your Dr. Also, Don't get water in your ear. Could cause infections which could cause you to lose your hearing.

Good grief! You can't have a "whole" in your eardrum - but you might have a hole. I hope you aren't going "death" because no-one ever recovers from dying. The hole in your eardrum will heal in time and restore your normal hearing - and you won't go deaf in the meantime.
