Try holding the home button for ten seconds, then (still holding the home button) plug the iPod into the computer and continue holding the home button until the "connect to iTunes" message appears. If that doesn't work, send it in to Apple or take it to your local Apple store and let the employees look at it.

Well, if the ipod is relatively new, you might want to try making an appointment at the nearest Apple Store with an Apple genius. Have them try and figure out what's wrong. Then, if they cant fix it you can look up how to take apart your ipod and try and fix it yourself if you dare...
my ipod wont charge and every time i plug it in the apple comes up and then the battery bar comes up and then the apple comes back then it just keeps repeating that process and i tried to restore it but it said it couldnt be restored Please Help Me!
