Get off the Internet. Quit advertising yourself. And tell your parents of this search thing. Yet how and where did you find out you been searched? Is it reliable? Involve yourself with your parents and involve them with your Internet. Let them see what you post and let them approve it first. They are your BEST source of protection.
You say you were on your computer and it said some one just searched you? That's a scam. It isn't true. It's either trying to give you a virus when you click on it or selling you something you don't need. You should be careful about what info you put out there, but in this particular instance, nothing has actually happened. So don't worry. Some one searching your name on the Internet (not that this actually happened) is nothing to be concerned about. They can't hurt you by googling your name. If you're really worried, google yourself and see what some stranger can see about you. All that will come up, most likely, is your Facebook account (which hopefully you have set to private), a twitter account if you have one, and then various "find people services" that help you get phone numbers like yellowpages.com. That's a good thing to do every now and then to make sure there isn't anything out there that you don't want open to the public. Once you put something online though, it's out there and very hard, if not impossible to get back. Never put out account info, SS number, etc.
